This growth has created an opportunity for an Associate or Senior Structural Engineer with expertise in water-retaining structures to join our Water Utilities team. About The Role You will support or lead and execute the structural engineering scope on multi-disciplinary water infrastructure projects of varying complexity and size. Your technical expertise will be critical in the planning, design, and delivery of innovative solutions while fostering a culture of excellence within the team. In this role you will: Manage structural design for water infrastructure assets, including pipelines, sewer networks, pump stations, and water-retaining structures. Provide structural input for proposals and contribute to business development and client engagement. Drive innovation through Digital Engineering and BIM-based coordination across disciplines. Conduct condition assessments, technical reviews, and design verifications. Apply Safety-in-Design principles, ensuring compliance with OHS&E and quality standards. Mentor junior engineers and graduates, building technical capability within the team. About You Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. 6–10 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer, with at least 5 years in the water industry. RPEQ registration (or eligibility); Chartered status for Associate level. Strong technical background in reinforced concrete, structural steel, and water-retaining structures compliant with Australian Standards. Proven ability to manage projects from concept through detailed design and contribute to proposals. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and technical reporting.
